Our Purpose
The IDEA Task Force was created to identify actionable ways to prevent and eliminate systemic racism and inequality and promote diversity and inclusion in the EMS community, including the National Registry. The Task Force will be comprised of representatives from the EMS community and will be chaired by the Chair of the National Registry of EMTs Board of Directors.
About Us
The Task Force will seek to identify actionable ways to
prevent and eradicate systemic racism and inequality. The Task Force will advise the National Registry Board of Directors on actionable items related to the National Registry of EMTs
and will, where appropriate, develop joint statements facilitating the actions needing to be taken by the EMS community as a whole.
